Five women and one hopeless country. Moldova is the poorest state in Europe and its judiciary system is the most corrupt in the world. The documentary shows public mood in Moldova in the run-up to the parliamentary elections that were held in February, 2019. Is there some hope for grassroots change in the country where half the population is forced to economic emigration? How brave should one be to stand against the system? They are brave without doubt. Maia formed the opposition coalition and ran for a seat in the parliamentary elections. Alona, a young entrepreneur and activist, decided to make happening about emigration. Aurelia, a civil activist, helps women suffering from breast cancer. Ana is connected with the bright and creative protest movement Occupy Guguţă.
