Don't Send Me No Flowers When I'm Dead
The narrative begins with Santosh’s arrival at a mysterious and puzzling place. Here, he meets Prakash and Ajay. It is a place where people arrive on their death. This place, it has no name and no person. It just allows one to wait. Wait before the unknown future. Santosh talks to Prakash and Ajay about the meaning and purpose of his being there. They are as clueless as himself. They too, like him, worry about what the future holds. Soon they are joined by Kaveri. And then Ajit, Madan, and Ismail. Each new arrival creates excitement. Yet the anxiety about the future continues. Together, they try to imagine what the future could hold. Their thoughts give an insight into their hopes and fears. Their past is reflected in their hopes for the future.
Arrival of Savita, a pregnant woman, shakes them more than any other arrival. It forces them to confront the reality of their situation. Prakash realises that what he misses most is not what wonderful things happened to him. Neither the pain of the past ache. He realises that what hurts the most are missed opportunities and unrealised experiences.

Motivation:
Hope arises from our longing for favourable circumstances, instilling in us a sense of optimism and purpose. It is natural for us to feel a mixture of hope and fear when confronted with the unknown, as we strive to anticipate and prepare ourselves for the future. Our yearning for positive outcomes ignites optimism
and provides us with a sense of purpose. Conversely, fear emerges from the ambiguity of the future and the perceived
dangers it may hold and gives rise to feelings of anxiety and concern. When hope and desire find themselves at odds, frustration and disappointment often follow suit leading to feelings of frustration and disillusionment. I want to explore how one experiences and navigates this journey of hope and
desire leading to fulfillment or disappointment.
Vision:
The narrative unfolds in an imaginary setting. It is a space that has no sense of time or boundaries. It provides no external motivation for action. This lack of external motivation forces the characters to make choices and take actions only out of their internal compulsions. As the narrative progresses characters make choices that may seem irrational but expose the way each
understands her or his own reality. The space without time or boundaries becomes restrictive and limiting rather than providing hope or promise. I believe that this space without any definition will allow the audience to immerse themselves and identify with the situation the characters face.
