Tyson Green is a creative who loves creating things from scratch. Being a keen writer from a young age, Tyson loved writing rhyming poetry at school, which later developed as a teenager into writing spoken word, and lyrics for music.
Not long after school, Tyson joined the Army in 2004 and hung up his stripes in 2017 to pursue his dreams of being an entrepreneur, taking a huge step into the fashion world with no prior experience. This, however, opened many doors for Tyson, as his brand GSBS was placed in movies featured in cinemas and on Netflix, connecting him to people in the film industry.
Spending time on film sets gave Tyson an insight into how things worked, as he watched and absorbed his surroundings. Inspired by many he worked with through fashion; Tyson got the creative boost he needed to pursue screenplay writing. Learning screenwriting basics from a free online BBC course, Tyson wrote his first TV show pilot in 2019, but never pursued further writing until 2021, when he decided to write the film Trigger-ed, based on his experiences with mental health.
Tyson, along with friends, later went on to bring Trigger-ed to life, where he made his directorial and producing debut. Tyson has since written more feature and short films, as well as TV series and show pilot scripts. Tyson’s biggest achievement through his writing so far has been being a part of the writer's room for Channel 4’s The Big Narstie show, and most recently becoming a children’s book author with his debut book "DOC GREEN AND THE MIND MONSTERS".
