Don't Let Me Go Music Video
The music video for "Don't Let Me Go" opens with lead singer on her way to a party when she texts her girlfriends that the guy she likes never followed up with their plans for the evening - again. Her friends tell her to come to the party and forget about the guy. While enjoying herself at the party, the guy that ghosted her shows up like nothing is wrong. The lead cannot believe he is there and decides to intentionally bump into him. He follows her out the door of the club and tries to win her back. When suggesting they leave together, the lead singer agrees. As they are leaving, there is a turn of events as she gets into the cab and closes the door on his face leaving him dumbfounded and left alone on the street. The video is an expression to show that your feelings are valid if your partner or someone your dating is not treating you right. You should not be afraid to put your foot down if someone is treating you improperly out of fear that they might leave you for someone else. Have hope that the right person for you is out there and you shouldn’t settle for anything less; to have respect for others but have even more respect for yourself. And to also participate in as many group choreographed dance sequences with your girls whenever possible ;)
