Director Statement

I love comedy and I love horror. One night I was attending a horror themed party and left with a gift bag with a Ouija board in it. I thought it was such a cool novelty gift but when I pulled it out and showed my boyfriend, he freaked out and asked that I not bring into my apartment. I thought this was kind of silly but sparked a whole level inspiration for a short film. What if someone had a terrifying reason for not wanting a toy sold by Hasbro in their home? I wrote up an outline and then a script off of this inspiration. I reached out to actors and crew that I really admired and was so happy that everyone wanted to make this with me. I hope you enjoy Don't Bring It In.
