Dönence

Dönence tells the story of Çanakkale Dardanel Women's Football Team's struggle on and off the pitch. It presents images of the efforts women football players make to survive in the sport they are so passionate about, the difficulties they face and the second jobs they have to carry out alongside football due to economic difficulties.
Issues such as the shadowy realities of women's football, the financial impossibilities faced by the teams, the lack of support and gender inequality in football are addressed through the individual stories of the players. The documentary also shows how the team prepares for matches, what wins and losses mean to them, and their struggle for promotion in the league.
