The mission of THE DONALD M. EPHRAIM PALM BEACH FILM FESTIVAL © presented by Morse Life, is to bring highly anticipated, critically acclaimed, and thought-provoking films to Palm Beach County. This festival will present these films alongside exclusive events with actors, directors, and industry guests. The festival’s aim is to showcase Palm Beach as a diverse and cosmopolitan community. As a world-class film festival, THE DONALD M. EPHRAIM PALM BEACH FILM FESTIVAL © represents a major contribution to the cultural life of Palm Beach County.

Festival 2024
In late January -early February THE DONALD M. EPHRAIM PALM BEACH FILM FESTIVAL will offer approximately 75+ film screenings in this inaugural festival, fostering dialogue and interaction among our attendees and supporters. We will strive to bring the work of both emerging and established filmmakers from around the world to this festival. The festival will foster collaboration with community partners, diverse populations, and student filmmakers so that we can bring a mix voices and perspectives to our film discussions and panels.

Prizes are not monetary. Audience Awards are given for Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Feature, Best Animated Film, Best Student Film, Best Short. Films are selected by the audience. Winners are notified. Names of winners are also posted on the film festival website: www.palmbeachfilmfestival.org

Winning films may be asked back to be featured in encore series.


Rules & Terms

All films must be made in 2021 or later and cannot have screened in Palm Beach County prior to January 2024. Films cannot be currently or previously streaming or in any way available to the public directly.

Submission
Films must be submitted via online screener. If film is not in English , subtitles must be embedded in the screener. A short synopsis with running time, county of origin and list of previous public screenings must accompany your film to merit consideration.

Entry fee is $25 USD. The entry fee is non-refundable.

Festival Screenings
THE DONALD M. EPHRAIM PALM BEACH FILM FESTIVAL © Cinemas screen exclusively in Digital Cinema Package (DCP). Please clearly label whether your film is PAL or NTSC.
Preferred formats are DCP with a NTSC Blu-ray backup. If DCP is not available, please inform us with your application.

Films in the festival program must arrive at the festival office no later than December 20, 2023

Marketing Materials
Upon acceptance to the festival, please send hi-res images, trailer and press kit to
submissions@palmbeachfilmfestival.org
if sending a physical poster, filmmaker/distributor must incur the shipment cost.

Scheduling
Screenings are scheduled during the festival at the discretion of THE DONALD M. EPHRAIM PALM BEACH FILM FESTIVAL © . While every effort will be made to adhere to the published schedule, THE DONALD M. EPHRAIM PALM BEACH FILM FESTIVAL © reserves the right to make changes at any time for any reason. THE DONALD M. EPHRAIM PALM BEACH FILM FESTIVAL © will not be liable for any costs claimed as a result of a change in scheduling.

No film may be withdrawn from the festival program after its selection.
Films will not be returned after the festival, unless a self-addressed postage included envelope is provided to us.
