Hey there! My name is Dominic Phan and I am a Sports Filmmaker and Film/TV Production Student at #4 Film School in the World, Chapman University's Dodge College School of Film and Media, located in Orange, California.
I currently serve as a Creative Media Producer for Chapman University Football, 1st AC, Digital Image Technician, and Trailer Editor/Sound Designer for Dodge College of Film and Media Arts Advanced Production and Senior Thesis Projects. I additionally I am a TV Broadcast Instructor at the FilmED Academy of the Arts and do freelance filmmaking with notable clients such as NFL Running Back Tyreek Hill’s Soul Runner Speed Academy, NFL QB Aaron Rodgers RX 3 Growth Tournament, Oakley, and NFL Agents Matt and Tim Vizzi.
I am currently proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Pro Tools, Paragon, and ATEM Live Broadcasting Software. I own and shoot on the Sony FX3 and Nikon D750 for all of my media needs.
My accomplishments include various awards and accolades ranging from the Newport Beach Film Festival, All-American High School Film Festival, Orange County Film Festival, Central Film Festival, Orange County Register, and California Educational Theatre Association. Contributing to 21 Film Festival Nominations, 5 Award Winning Films, and 2 Artist of the Year Awards (CVHS and Orange County Register) as well as graduating high school as the Artist of the Year, 3x Scholar Athlete, Kiwanis Honor and Impact Student of the Year over the past four years of experience in the Film/TV Production world.
