Domesticate
DOMESTICATE follows a primate’s interaction with its environment. Typically, we perceive the intelligent human mind on the outside and the animal nature hidden on the inside. In DOMESTICATE the roles are reversed, the animal is the outward appearance and the conscious mind is inward. We glimpse insights into the mind of the animal through contrasting visual flashes. DOMESTICATE is a journey of surveying the desert environment, foraging for food, and encountering other living creatures. Eventually, the animal is forced ‘inside’ by its environment for survival reasons. The animal is also forced into cohabitation. Increases in the stress of social complexity lead to aggression and the ultimate demise of the animal.
