Director Biography - Prasad Sawant

Director Biography:
“Prasad Sawant born December 18, 1979, grew up in Thane-Maharashtra, India, and moved to the Netherlands at the age of 32 to continue his IT profession.
He developed a love for photography, theater, performance, and music while working in the Netherlands. In 2016, Prasad found a new interest in photography and movies and directed his short experimental project ‘Nightmare.’ After this, he continued to work on a couple of short experimental projects and online videos to sharpen his skills.
In 2014 he became a founder of the Theatre Company, 'Abhimanch,’ with his friends and directed a 3act play named, 'TWELVE,’ a Hindi (Indian language) adaptation of Twelve angry men by Reginald Rose; this was his directorial debut in experimental Theatre.
Always driven by stories, Prasad attended online storytelling workshops to work on his writing skills. In 2022, he directed his debut film, 'DOMKAWALA - The Rave' in Marathi(Indian language) as writer-director.
His main career goal is to direct a feature film for major production companies.”
