Dolwa

Following the lives of three women as a celestial body passes by Earth. Jessica, a recent college graduate trying to fulfill her dream as an actress, desperately tries to live up to her father's expectations in the absence of her mother while holding onto her dignity in the process.
Kathy, a middle-aged single mother, struggles to support her young son and care for her disabled mother by any means necessary.
Eleanor, a retired senior, mourns the loss of her husband and is disheartened by her two daughters' lack of compassion and understanding.
Loneliness and tragedy bring these women together through a connection mysteriously linked to the passing of a moon known as Dolwa.

Director Biography - Alex Suszko

Alex Suszko is a filmmaker from Stillwater, MN who has worked as a Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Producer and Editor. After attending school at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he moved back to his hometown and began production on his first feature length film, Dolwa. He completed Dolwa in the summer of 2022 and continues to work full time as a Producer for a local cable station as well as Produce Independent short films.
