I think cinema as a place to reflect about the madness of the day to day living being unnoticed.
Studying audiovisual communication gave me tools to create stories. Not only in the technical sense, also learning and analyzing films by directors that inspired me: Sofia Coppola, Jim Jarmusch and Agnes Varda.
After obtaining my B.A degree in audiovisual communication from the Blas Pascal University of Córdoba, I worked five years in advertising and creating content for Tv, yet something felt wrong, I felt empty. Seeking a deeper understanding, I enrolled in postgraduate studies in contemporary documentary at the National University of Córdoba. This changed my life upside down, for good. I reconnected. I learned the importance of observation to find hidden stories in persons and scenarios of everyday life.
My most recent experience was documenting the behind the scenes of a series where the script writer and the lead actress were young women with a disability "4 feet high". It was life changing. Watching the entire team deconstruct their work to be accessible and inclusive, rethinking, re building.
Beauty is a subject that has always surrounded me as a female filmmaker. Showing different desirable bodies was one way of expanding the concepts of beauty.
