Dog

A child who could fly, illuminates his way through the interior of a Church. He didn´t know that the cleric, in charge of personifying the word of God, would take advantage of his naivety, while using a social mask to hide his macabre intentions.

Director Biography - Joana Sousa

Joana Sousa (2003, Santa Maria da Feira) has a recent degree in Sound and Image in Escola das Artes in Universidade Católica of Porto. Her artistic style is always related with horror and the disturbing, which are demonstrated in her animations and photography. As her first big project, she created an animation short film, «Dog», where she combined 2D and 3D animation to make a social critique of the Church.
