Because great documentaries change the way we see the world!

The Docuworld Film Festival is one of the business counterparts of The Breaking-TV Film Festival and is held annually in conjunction with the Breaking-TV Film Festival and The British Film Market.
The Docuworld Film Festival is an annual event held in the vibrant city of London that celebrates the best of documentary filmmaking from around the world. The festival showcases a diverse range of documentaries that cover a wide variety of subjects, from politics and social issues to nature and wildlife, art and culture, and much more.

The festival is a platform for both established and emerging documentary filmmakers to showcase their work to a global audience. The films that are selected for screening are chosen for their quality, authenticity, and their ability to provoke thought and inspire change. Each film is accompanied by panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and workshops with the filmmakers, providing an opportunity for the audience to engage with the films on a deeper level.

The premiere of a documentary film at The Docuworld Film Festival is a unique and exciting experience.
The audience is filled with film enthusiasts, critics, and industry professionals, all eager to see the latest and greatest documentaries from around the world. The filmmakers are also in attendance, often participating in Q&A sessions and panel discussions after the screening.
A documentary premiere at The Docuworld Film Festival is a thrilling and unforgettable experience, bringing together filmmakers and audiences from all corners of the world to celebrate the power and artistry of documentary filmmaking.
Although the festival does not impose any premiere requirement on the filmmakers. The Breaking-TV Film Festival encourages and supports world premieres, UK Premieres, and International Premieres at the festival.

In comparison to other documentary film festivals, at The Docuworld Film Festival, the voice of the audience matter and they have a say!
The judging process is weighted between the Breaking-TV audience (50%) and the judge's panel (50%). This unique approach to film festival programming ensures that the audience plays a significant role in recognizing and celebrating the most outstanding films.
