Bill Doorley is a writer and filmmaker. He started working on sponsored films in 1983 and has since written and produced film and video for corporations, non-profits, museums, and public television. He has a B.A. in Communications and an M.A. in Producing for Film and Television, both from American University in Washington, DC.
This is not the story of a disabled person. It’s the story of someone who lives her life as a traveler on a journey. She faces obstacles along the way, but she keeps moving forward. She has made her condition a part of her life by focusing, not on her limitations, but on her alternatives and possibilities.
