Teresa Takaki Matsushima was born in Chicago, raised in Gardena, CA, has served in 3 continents as a medical missionary and is a retired nurse practitioner. She enjoys talking story over a cup of hot green tea, holding hands with her main squeeze, Bob, relishes her grandkid time and wants to see people healed of their deep emotional wounds. Do You Love Me? is her first film.
During Covid, I joined the Visual Communications, Digital Histories class for Asian American retirees. Everyone has a story to tell and I wanted to share the search for my father and what transpired after I found him after 30 years. I cried buckets while making my film. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
