Diving

This work explores two aspects from the damaged image: the time and space inside the screen, and the image production process. The film was mainly shot with a damaged mobile phone without any special effect. The blurry and trembling image seems to be soaked in water, separated from the world by a layer of film. At this moment, the camera in my hand is no longer bringing the world closer, but suggesting an attitude of withdrawal as an onlooker. In this work, I attempt to sneak into the interlayer of space-time below the surface of a broken phone, and merge my viewpoint with the machines'.
