Robert "Hershey" Alston is a filmmaker from Philadelphia, PA. Hershey attended Penn State (Main Campus) and pledged Kappa Alpha Psi. His introduction into the film started with the first project he produced, "Incomplete Cell"
This project is very important to me because it will educate our
community about the Massacre in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921. The
documentary will also emphasize the importance as a Black
community to pool our resources together in order to be an integral
part of the narrative to obtain and sustain economic wealth.
