Jose Pablo graduated in Film & Television (2012) and also in Media Studies (2008). For more than ten years, he's been creatively involved in advertising campaigns, documentaries, music videos, photography, television series, shorts, and feature films. He's been responsible for the development of personal and institutional productions but also handling budgeting, scheduling, scripting, pre-production, and marketing.

As a producer and assistant director, he's worked in two Costa Rican Feature Films (‘A Ojos Cerrados’, 2010 directed by Hernán Jiménez, and ‘Maikol Yordan’, 2014 by Miguel Gómez). In 2015, 'Dele Viaje’ (web series he had initially developed as a thesis project in college) was awarded 'El Fauno', a Costa Rican Film Fund Grant. He was able to write and direct a new entire season together with a multidisciplinary team. 'Dele Viaje' was selected to participate in multiple Digital Series' Festivals worldwide and was awarded several prizes, including Best Cinematography, Best Script, and Best Drama Series. Jose Pablo is currently developing his first feature film as a director.
