She is a CPA by profession with Fine Arts being her first passion. As a child, Mrs. Forbes always loved the stage. However, it was not until 2009 that she reconnected with acting within the Adult Drama Ministry at Bahamas Harvest Church. This inspired her to audition in 2014 at the Dundas, where she received her first role on the big stage as Green in “For Colored Girls”. Since then she has acted in plays such as “A Woman’s Lot” under Ringplay Productions, “Til Death Do Us Part” and “It Takes Two” under Real Laugh Networks just to name a few. In 2016, the Artistic Accountant wrote her very own stage play, “All of Me”, which was inspired by her life. The play was directed and produced in 2017 on the same Dundas stage and later received an Icon Award nomination in 2018. Michaella Forbes went on in 2019 to direct two short plays for Shakespeare in Paradise. In 2020, Michaella booked the theater to debut her second stage play but the covid pandemic hit, which caused her to pivot and start thinking about film in 2021. She gives all honor and glory to God for this talent and uses it to direct and produce many plays for her church as the leader of the same drama ministry that re-ignited her fire for fine arts.
