Director Statement

When I was studying MA in London, the Covid-19 outbreak. I experienced the difficulty of lockdown. The shared memories such as unpredictable life, fear of infection, and absence of social support, simply became my motive to make Distance. I learned from current news that people who work for preventing pandemics suffer from social distance most. Thus, telling a story from front-line workers’ perspectives is my must-to-do. The vision of Distance is to depict how global stays strong to waiting for a normal day we all hope.
