Disconnected

Disconnected is student work which is a 3D animation that aims to show how technology, makes people more lonely, isolated and disconnects them from the real world as well as creates a fake sense of reality and delusion. It also sheds light on the concerning issue of oversexualization of women through modern technologies.

In my story, a man becomes trapped in an augmented reality, unaware of the fabricated illusion of his existence. He explores a dazzling world until a glitch reveals the grim truth. Stranded without escape, he faces an eternal existence devoid of genuine connections. The animation portrays his despair, trapped in a digital purgatory.
