Digital Girl
A young girl spends her days drawing, playing, and dreaming until a cellphone enters her life, doing everything for her. As her creativity fades, so does her joy, leaving her resigned to a life without passion. Digital Girl (Fille Digitale) is a poignant exploration of childhood, technology, and the quiet loss of imagination.

Fille Digitale is a reflection on how technology can slowly replace creativity. As a high school student, I wanted to capture how easily we can lose our passion when we rely too much on technology for convenience. Inspired by French New Wave storytelling, I used simple visuals and subtle storytelling to show how technology quietly takes over our lives--especially when introduced to it when we are young. Through this film, I hope to highlight how we might be losing more than we realize in our pursuit of ease.
