Deportation Ticket - The Jews of Würzburg

Of course, in Germany it is widely known what happened between 1933 and 1945. But besides remembrance Antisemitism is growing again in Germany, especially in the muslim migrants communities. The history of Würzburg, before 1933 one of the most important hot spots of jewish life in Europe, tells the story of Antisemitism - and its consequences...

Remark: The Trailer contains original footage shot by the local administration of Stuttgart/Germany in 1942. It shows an unknown German woman of jewish origin shortly before her deportation to Stuttgart Main Station - and from there to Death Camp.

The photos show ID-Cards ("Kennkarten") of German citizens of jewish origin. They were an important element of the Nazi system of the humiliation and deprivation of rights forced upon the German Jews, such being a part of the Holocaust-System.

Most of the men, women and children on these photos were murdered during the Holocaust.
