Dialogue Across Time And Space

After the victory, the marines had been stationed in Qingdao for four years.
In the summer of 1948, two American pilots were captured when I was conducting reconnaissance missions in the liberated areas. In the spring of 1950, two men were released back home.
In the film, the young hero's grandfather, the grandfather of the young man, is one of the pilots. After more than 60 years, he came to Qingdao to explore his grandfather's footsteps. With the help of staff at the Qingdao archives, little buner and his father found the reason why old bandar stopped flying when he returned home. The film USES artistic techniques to reproduce the statement of the year through the old archives.

Director Statement

Qingdao is a beautiful city because its beauty was also colonized by foreign powers several times at the beginning of last century, which added a historical imprint to this young city.
