Maximilian Speidel breaks through stereotypical narratives and brings them to a point with his handwriting. He first got in touch with film by standing in front of the camera as an actor, snowboarder and dancer. Maximilian’s main reasons for doing what he does today are working with a variety of people and starting with a simple idea to create a piece of eternity – ideally something that can alter the viewers’ point of perception.
His work as a director reflects not only his passion for food, culture and sports but also his boundless interest in the biographies of people who do not throw themselves into the limelight voluntarily. He has an exceptional sense and empathy for topics which others do not dare to approach, which is why he repeatedly succeeds in creating an atmosphere in which something truly magical happens. His work not only conveys an
unadulterated depth but also his crazy, funny and energetic lightness.
