In the Tarapacá region, devotion to San Lorenzo is lived from the bodies of people who tattoo themselves and carry the saint for life. Mandas, gratitude and faith are intermingled with the experiences of four tattoo artists who position body art and local talent.

Francisca Basaure studied Anthropology at the University of Chile and is Mg. in Intangible Cultural Heritage, Society and Territorial Development from the Arturo Prat University. Since 2013 she has lived in the Tarapacá region developing a research project and enhancement of cultural heritage. Some of them are: The victory of the Morenos (2017), Pampina Memory (2019), Matracas de La Tirana (2020) and Dressing Gypsies (2022). She is currently finishing her Mg studies. In Documentary Film at the University of Chile.
Constanza Cáceres estudió Historia del Arte en la Universidad de Chile y es Mg. en Patrimonio Cultural Intangible, Sociedad y Desarrollo Territorial de la Universidad Arturo Prat. Desde el 2016 desarrolla proyectos de investigación y puesta en valor del patrimonio cultural, particularmente en la región de Tarapacá. Algunos de ellos son: Memoria Pampina (2019), Matracas de La Tirana (2020) y Vestir de Gitanos (2022).
