Love letters, photo collages and the sounds of a bygone era, interwoven according to a musical principle. Three women read the interlaced texts. A clown signs them. And the audience is reminded of the time when they still wrote and received handwritten love letters.

Director Biography - Thomas Adamicka

Thomas Adamicka was born 1976 in Zurich. He studied history, German literature and film science at the University of Zurich and film directing at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin. He works as a writer, director, editor and producer for film, TV and art projects. His films won prizes at several international film festivals.

Director Statement

With each film I try to find a formal solution that I have never seen before. Inspired by non-filmic collage art, I hope that the transfer to video has led to a unique result.
