Director Biography - Nadia Feyzi


She was born in 1993 in Herat, Afghanistan. During the occupation of Afghanistan, by the Taliban. Her family immigrated to Iran, Nadia was about 5 years old at that time.
Her finished diploma in a boarding school and started working as an assistant director in Tehran theater and appeared in several shows as an assistant and a young actor.
At the age of 17, after passing the entrance exam, she entered Tehran’s Soore University, but because Nadia was not Iranian, she could not finish her studies. While studying at the university, she was able to make 7 short films and two documentaries.
Her also wrote many screenplays.
In late 2014, while making a documentary, Nadia was arrested by the Iranian government for not having papers and spent countless months in prison. After being released from prison, she had to flee Iran to Turkey illegally. In Turkey, she worked as a director and editor for GEM TV for 18 months and immigrated to Germany at the end of 2015.
She was able to study in Germany for two years in the field of image and sound and is currently working in a German theater and RTL TV.
She is still studying in the field of film directing and also makes music videos for various singers.

Her considers cinema as sacred and believes that artists in all fields related to image and sound, with the right work, can continue their path in the direction of spreading peace and friendship between people and keep human emotions alive until they reach perfection.
