The Dosiér
"The Dosiér" is a touching short film that tells the inspiring story of Karl-Heinz Dahm, a passionate artist who creates can art and has developed a unique form of art in the process.
Karl Heinz collects empty cans and transforms them with different materials into fascinating works of art such as signs, display weapons, and even entire pieces of furniture. Each work tells its own story and shows the beauty in the supposedly simple.
His passion for can art keeps him finding new ways to create something special out of everyday objects.
The short film shows Karl Heinz's impressive ability to see beauty in seemingly insignificant things and how he uses his art to spread joy and wonder in the world. He finds support and community in the Diakonisches Netzwerk WABe e. V., which encourages him in his artistic journey.

We are a group of four students at FH Aachen from different degree programmes who are enthusiastic about film. Our first joint film project was created as part of a module. Since it is a team effort, we all present ourselves equally as directors.
We are proud to present an inspiring person with an unique idea.
