Andie Dilley is a junior Film & Television student at the University of Colorado Denver. After graduating high school, she discovered her passion for filmmaking and has gone on to direct two award winning shorts, The Weeping and Unorthodox. Most recently she is the director and the production designer for Denim Daze. She has a background in the arts, participating actively in music and theater programs during high school. She appreciates films that are visually unique and hopes to find a career in Production Design.
Denim Daze is a film about letting go and acceptance, something that my co-director, Eli Migdal, and I both share in our pasts. We started this project with the hope of making people laugh, and discovered a tender heart at its core. We hope that audiences can relate to Jayla and enjoy her at times ridiculous teenage world.
