Bio,
Demetrius Witherspoon was born in Louisville, KY in 1974, and went on to be an RnB Singer. And in 2013 started his journey as a Writer, Director, and Producer of the Award-Winning Sci-Fi Submerge Universe Franchise.

There are five “Submerge” films and an Animated Pilot, along with merchandise such as comic books, Novels, board games, action figures, and apparel. Demetrius had the pleasure of working with talent like Actor Bishop Stevens from Walking Dead, Chicago P.D. and Katy O’brian from Star Wars The Mandalorian, ZNation, Agent of Shield, Westworld, and more.

As a child, Demetrius always loved to watch movies. That determination to feed the spirit and imagination of an audience has had a direct impact on his life and his community. He loves to make movies and comics, to see dreams unfold into reality, and he loves being an active participant in nourishing the creativity that abounds in his local art community and the international art community.

Demetrius strives to partner with artists from around the world, actors, and professionals to create projects that give people a feeling of empowerment as they face the challenges in their own lives.
