Logline: When an actress discovers the sinister reason behind her portrayal of a suicidal politician, she gets more than she bargained for.

Synopsis: After sitting through dozens of takes and countless result directions, Echo, an actress, confronts her director Magnus. To convince Echo to stay, Magnus confesses to her that his fastidious directing was to recreate his deceased lover through Echo’s performance. Echo is touched by his story and delivers a heartbreaking performance with one minor imperfection - she laces her fingers the wrong way. Suddenly, a distant clunking sound interrupts their conversation. Valerie, the off-kilter casting director, rushes out of the room. Magnus tells Echo to take a short break and leaves the room as well. With her suspicion mounting up, Echo investigates the unattended director’s desk and discovers something truly shocking.
