Debaters Without Borders
Debaters Without Borders is a one hour documentary about one man’s quest to help students in Cameroon improve their debating skills in the midst of dealing with a national crisis.
Fueled by the death of his mentor who first brought him to Cameroon in 2013,
DWB tells the story of Morehouse Professor Ken Newby’s return to the country in 2017 to prepare Cameroonian students for the largest and most important debate competition in Africa.

Aaron Walker III is a Chicago native and LA based filmmaker. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree and Fine and Applied Arts he moved west and began his career in the entertainment industry. Professionally he has a background in Marketing for Feature Film and Television that spans two decades. Aaron has created, contributed, produced and finished key art, including print, trailers and television and radio spots for Disney, Fox, Warner Bros. Sony BET, The Africa Channel.
Mr. Walker’s film and television credits include Planet of the Apes, Minority Report, Cars 2, Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides, The Bernie Mac Show, House Hunters International, and Best Man Holiday to name just a view. His works also includes film projects for HBO and marketing campaigns for Nike. His incredible experience and knowledge acquired from behind the scenes led him to be invited to serve as film educator teaching editing in Abuja, Nigeria in. That opportunity led him to serve as a journalist photographer and be published in various news outlets internationally. His photography work has additionally been published domestically working with various music artist. A highlight in his career was interviewing Quincy Jones at his home for the Producers Guild. His latest project, Debaters Without Borders, was an official selection of the 2021 Morehouse Human Rights film festival. Mr. Walker does not like to brag about his long list of accolades. Instead, he prefers to allow his work to speak for itself.
