Death of a Tiger Mother

Death of a Tiger Mother is a black comedy set in a world of social pressure, images and egos. At the center of that world is the 41 year-old Angela, a typical ‘Oud-Zuid’-mom who likes nothing more than to chat with other moms about the achievements of their children. Obviously, she’s pretty upset when she finds out her 12-year-old son, Boris, is saddled with nothing more than VMBO school advice. If this shocking fact comes to light, it will cause an irreparable break in Angela's flawless image. This social pressure will drive her completely mad, and once the ‘Tiger Mom' is set loose… there’s no stopping her. In cold blood, she’ll cross moral and ethical boundaries, including vandalism, theft, exam fraud and the kicking of small children, hoping to boost Boris’ school advice and thus maintain her impeccable image.
