Marshall Ferrin is a writer that lives in the Washington, DC area. Marshall grew up in a military family,
moving every two years to a new part of the United States. He has a background in international business development and has lived and worked in more than 30 countries, including Afghanistan, Antiqua and Micronesia. Marshall has acted in, produced, directed and written stage plays and penned seven screenplays and a six-episode TV series. He studied writing for the screen and stage with Robert McKee and Lee Strasberg in New York, as well as graduate work in Theater and Film at Syracuse University and the University of Arizona. Marshall’s work has received awards from the Cinestory, Capital Fund, Fade In, and Big Apple competitions. He placed high in the Nicolls Academy Awards competition. Marshall has theater acting, directing and production experience. Marshall’s characters take deep dives into an individual’s struggle for freedom from tyrannical worlds gone mad with oppression and violence.
