Death is Silent
In videogames, death is silent. Representations of violent conflict in video games help to create a specific narrative in favour of war. Through the examination of a series of videogames and interviews with members of the military, this film attempts to explore the fictions created by videogames and their relation with modern warfare in the form of a desktop documentary. This film was produced as part of a master's thesis on Political Science that used audiovisual methods as a research method to explore central questions of political science such as hegemony, power and persuasion.
