Director Biography

German born filmmaker Désirée Ickerodt grew up in Germany and has been living in London for over 10 years. At the age of 42 she decided to study Fine Art and she finished her degree at the University of East London in 2014 showing a short film. Since then she has been working independently on a series of short films about life, truth, death and happiness. She enjoys being involved in all aspects of filmmaking and is also working as an independent videographer and video editor on retreats and for talks. Her particular interest are spiritual subjects and to use the medium of film to convey the intangible.
