Death Creates Life
When Sandra’s daughter is put in the hospital under life threatening conditions, she is confronted by an ethical dilemma. About to lose everything, the desperate Sandra has to make a choice to accept her daughter’s fate or that she should fight it. But at what cost? She has to make a choice within ten hours or else it will be too late.

Ysbrand Bosma is a recognized film director and editor from Amsterdam currently working in Belgium. He holds Bachelor's degree in Film Sciences in Utrecht University, the Netherlands and in Film-TV-Video studies at LUCA School of Arts, Campus Narafi Film in Brussels, Belgium with specialization in directing and editing. Ysbrand completed his internships at the IJswater production house in Amsterdam and MEDIAALAN Publishing Group in Brussels, Belgium.
A film he has worked on is "Kammerspiel" (2013), winner in the categories 'Best Film', 'Best Director' and 'Best Actor' at the AKT Film Festival in Utrecht. He also participated in "Uit het Zicht" (2011), winner at Utrecht film festival '5 Minutes of Fame' in the categories 'Best Film' and 'Best Director'. He was Director of Photography and Editor for projects such as Liebestraum (2011) and Tristan (2012), which he also directed.
The film "Death Lives" is a character-driven film about the unconditional love of a single mother. Moral boundaries are sought when her only child reaches the hospital in a life-threatening condition. There is little time to save the child and choices have to be made.
