Dear Diary

Constantly challenged by her parent’s biased views, Mia keeps her jealousy and anger pent up within herself and her diary. She could only keep her feelings bottled as she watches her biological parents favour her adopted brother, Eric.

Once again, the pair of siblings received their school result slips. Scoring better than Eric, Mia tries staying optimistic on her parents’ reactions though knowing well that Eric’s achievements would only matter so much more than hers.

However, things take a turn when Eric catches Mia red-handed. He reads through the diary entries that were filled with so much hatred towards him. Mia’s attempt at explaining herself fails as Eric becomes more disappointed.

Unable to hold back any longer, Mia lashes out her anger towards Eric. All the repressed energy in her gets unleashed while she starts to express herself physically, causing violence between the two.

Trying to defend himself, Eric accidentally pushes Mia so hard that she becomes unconscious. Truth be told, Mia’s anger was only in the heat of the moment as she narrates how she truly feels about her family.
