Director Biography - Mia Noelle Shaw

Mia Noelle Shaw is a student filmmaker at the University of Tampa, pursuing a degree in Film and Media with a minor in Dance. She has been creatively capturing stories since childhood and has always recognized her passion for entertainment. Initially involved in musical theater and playwriting, Mia eventually transitioned to screenwriting and filmmaking, which has become a significant focus of her artistic journey.

"Dead to Me" explores the feelings of loss experienced when transitioning from being with someone to no longer having them in your life. It delves into the aftermath of overthinking and the gradual realization of aspects of the relationship that may have been overlooked at the time. This project aims to capture the complexity of these emotions and the insights that emerge in the wake of a breakup.
