Rishabh has been inclined towards film-making since an early age when he made middle-school projects in the form of films shot on a phone camera. Later, he went on to establish a film club at his high school. An Engineering student at the University of Toronto, Rishabh was also part of a student film titled 'Room 121' in his first year.
Deadline (2018) is Rishabh's first film as an independent director that he made for a 48-hour film challenge at Hart House, Toronto.
We got an umbrella and a single line of dialogue to make the movie around. Deadline was made with a three member crew and budget of fifty dollars in two days. I didn't get any sleep that weekend.
