On May 12th at 6PM, we will be screening short films at the Alamo Drafthouse in Chicago. This mini-festival will take place before a screening of Retro Puppet Master hosted by FX legend Jeff Farley. Who will also be there for a Q&A and meet and greet.

Awards & Prizes

Anyone whose work is shown at the event will be an official selection of the festival. We will be awarding one short film as the festival winner. There will be prizes TBA, and the best of the fest will be presented with a trophy . We are also going to designate selected shorts as runners up. All filmmakers whose work becomes an official selection will be granted free admission to the event.

Rules & Terms

We do not allow pornography or hate speech, pretty much everything else goes. We have another festival that runs a bit harder material, and if necessary we will reach out to let you know it's probably best to move it there instead.

When you submit a short to us, you are allowing us to promote on your behalf, you are allowing us to share your work in part or full on social media, and other formats such as Patreon if we so choose. Any sharing will be specifically related to the festival only.And will not continue after the festival ends.

We reserve the right to withdraw anyone's submissions from consideration in the event that the behavior of the film maker is contradictory to the festival, or in any way may negatively impact the festival.
