Day of Ghongata
Prakash prays to the full moon- it brings light and strength to him and his temple. However, Ghongata, the Rakshasa of the violet sun, will stop at nothing to plunge the world into endless corrupted day.
This film began development in Spring 2021 as Kyle Peterson's senior capstone animation at Bradley University. It takes heavy inspiration from Indian architecture and folklore.

Kyle Peterson is an Animator/Graphic Designer from Illinois, and recently graduated from Bradley University. He loves using animation, design, and illustration to bring stories to life.
His characters and stories are inspired by a desire to see his Indian heritage represented in our media.
Making this film has been an extremely educational and challenging experience. I've learned tons of new animation and illustration techniques in Clip Studio Paint, how to mix audio in Adobe Premier, how to manage project scope, and how to finally call a major animation project done. Thank you to my friends and professors at Bradley for making this possible, and thank you especially to the Peterson family and Aaron Steele.
