David O’Brien wrote the four-part screenplay A BLOW TO THE HEAD based on his novel of the same name about the impact on an urban family of a one-punch attack. The drama follows four men whose rage is confronted by violent circumstance.
He is writing a second novel called THE ART OF POO which he will convert into a screenplay.
David has recut a seven-minute short film on aging with OLD FART.

He spent three decades in broadcast television as an on-the-road reporter, a chief-of-staff and programme producer. He's played a range of roles in short films and stage. He writes screenplays under contract and runs workshops in storytelling.
He has taught writing for the screen on the Fox Lot at New York Film Academy and at universities and community colleges. He coaches, edits and teaches writing for the screen.
