Darkness Colors Lights. PEACE-Melody under Brushes Album-2.

As ordinary citizens, we might not be qualified or interested in running for any office, but we still have the ability to evaluate the colors painted by any politician for his/her campaign slogan, fake or authentic. We praise heartedly through the generations, the names of those who have devoted their lives to make ours better. No intention of becoming an activist, as I stated for my Peace painting series. When a painting is not enough to express my perspective, I write a song, and/or a film, and this applies to my Peace-Melody under Brushes short film series. In particular, I’m interested in what happens in our daily lives, and contemporary events that touch our hearts. Different from a painting, film has to be realized by a group of people who share the same interests. In this series, we share a simple goal: to enjoy our lives in a pleasant environment, on a peaceful planet. In realizing screenplays, I’m extremely lucky to have top international musicians (including cute child vocalists), filmmakers and organizers who tolerate and cooperate with my thoroughness, and they are even more demanding themselves to perform their roles not only well but with perfection. Cooperation with lovely people is an important resource for my inspiration and learning. It’s them who make this series harmonious to the audience, and especially to our soulmates, who somewhere and somehow, tirelessly donate their talents and time to work on what matters to us as citizens, even though the subject is not entertaining, and the effects are controversial and non-commercial. Each part, in this series, focuses on a contemporary event, unfortunately more often than not, a tragedy. The title is used for addressing a problem, longer than that of a conventional art film. Such as, Part 1: “Baby, get rid of that dark obsession, please!” Part 2: “God means loving, not killing!” In this album-2 “Darkness colors lights” Part 6 is speaking for patients who recovered from Covid-19, and those who didn’t. They might not get the chance to say to their doctors and nurses who are trying their best, even jeopardizing their own lives in saving them, and to those who hold their hands at the moment they need it the most: “Just want you to know, how much I appreciate you, my angel.”
