Director Biography - Neyoko Haynes

Hi, my name is Neyoko Haynes. I'm currently a full-time college student. I have always been artistic and creative since I was a little kid. My biggest interest during my childhood, I started to draw simple characters and scenery during eighth grade. At first, I was not very good at it. Though it felt good to have something visually represent and explain what I couldn’t say. As the years progressed, I started to become more invested in it. I would google techniques, look up art styles, and search for different mediums to help me shape my outlet into a craft. I would create futuristic, funny, cartoon images either from my own ideas or through inspiration from others. Most of the artwork I create centers around sci-fi and futuristic themes.

Dark World takes place in a futuristic world where a medical corporation is responsible for the mutation of thousands of people caused by their Medusa serum, which was created to expanded and strengthen the human DNA sequence. The main character Cass is determined to stop this serum from causing more harm to other and bring down this corporation. This is currently personal project that I’ve been working on during my free time. It’s a web-series concept that want to release in the near-future. Currently I’m still in the composition stage for my first few episodes. I chose this type of theme because I have always been fascinated with other worlds, the fashion, the high-tech gadgets and most importantly the colors. The bright and cool tone spectrums of RGB coloring that can take a world from the smog post-apocalyptic wastelands of the future to a fully electrical eco-world full of automated creations.
