The film captures the Brazilian ballerina Ingrid Silva's preparations for the Harvard Latina Empowerment and Development Conference, including Behind the Scenes footage. Ingrid conduces you through her story and journey to one of the most important and prestigious universities in the world.
The event, organized annually, had Ingrid as the first Brazilian and the first dancer as a participant. “Being the first Brazilian and a dancer to speak at the Harvard LEAD Conference is of historic importance, especially being black.”

Director Biography - Guto Gaelzer

Guto Gaelzer is a Brazilian filmmaker, advertising professional, and musician based in New York City. He had already worked for Brazilian Channel GNT, Sony Music Brazil and he’s going to run for La Jolla for the second time. In 2016 he ran with “Gotta do it My Way” alongside her wife and partner Rafaela Keunecke.
