Dapdune Road

Dapdune Road takes us on a journey with Malene (19), who struggles with mental disorders and drug addiction. After she is discharged from the psychiatric hospital, her anxiety level rises and she once again turns to drugs for comfort. As she rides down Dapdune Road in a drug-induced psychosis, she is confronted by other lost souls and her own inner struggle. External events inspire her to take control of her own future.

Director Biography - Frida Feline Nilsen

Frida Feline Nilsen (27), is a audio-visual artist with a studio at Tou Scene in Stavanger, Norway. She runs and administer Aural Art Productions and focuses on producing artistic short films, music and soundscapes that express emotions, states of mind, mental health and community-related themes.

Frida has higher education in electronic music production, film music and music production & recording technique. Frida emphasizes working interdisciplinary with both professional workers and newly established talents, especially female "up and coming", within several disciplines.

Frida's art films have been shown at several major international and national film festivals/art museums.
