Daniela López Lugo is the daughter of a Chilean father and a Venezuelan mother. She studied film at the University of Chile and began her career as an art director, where her work in "To Kill a Man" stands out among her works, a feature film with which she was nominated in the Pedro Sienna Awards for Best Art Direction. After studying at the International Cinema and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, she turned her attention to writing and film direction. In the last 5 years Daniela has been the audiovisual director of the Women's Film Festival where she directs the festival's spot. 2018 was the year of music, producing his first video "Mystery" for Ana Tijoux, coming to premiere and directing his first pieces "Hechicera" by Lorena Erpel and "Encadená" by Denise Rosenthal. She is currently post-producing her first fiction short film called "El Milagro" and this 2019 is projected with her debut film "La Puerta" together with her production company Farola Cinema.
